Most welcome comments! Thank you! Like I say, the other translations are less than good and I was trying to puzzle out what they were trying to say, a diificult task without a knowledge of the Greek language, which you have so graciously supplied.
where/wherever: In this context, "where" carries the meaning of "wherever" but it is always better to be more precise
And if I forget to request proofreading on some song, it's an accident. I always hope someone will comment on my translations & help me improve them. Thanks again for your help.
I don't speak Greek at all. It's all Greek to me. But there is a French translation of the song on the site so this is a recursive translation, a translation into English of the translation into French of the Greek song.

I was inspired to offer this translation because the existing two English translations here are not in particularly idiomatic English. Which is a polite way of saying that they are rather inarticulate and border on gibberish. But in both cases, the translators have not visited the site in over 6 years, so suggesting changes to their translations would seem totally futile at this point.
