Neyleyim Sen Yoksan Eğer

Neyleyim sen yoksan eğer dünyanın servetini
Neyleyim sen yoksan eğer ahiretin cennetini
Neyleyim sen yoksan eğer sahilleri kırları
Neyleyim sen yoksan eğer yazı kışı baharı

Ne de haklıymış meğer
Aşk uğruna yananlar
Sen de beni yakıp gittin
Geçen yıl bu zamanlar

Elimde yok adresin şimdi bilmem nerdesin
Aşkımın ödülü müydü habersizce gidişin
Sana öyle hasretim bu temmuz akşamında
Neyleyim sen yoksan eğer neyleyim Istanbul'da

Bir baktim ki sen gideli yıllar olmuş
Umudum dağların ardında
Hayallerim paramparça
Ben ise kırık dökük
Ne ellerin değer elime
Ne de yüzün yüzüme dönük
Kim bilir şimdi nerelerdesin nerelerdesin

what shall I do without you

What shall I do without you

What good having all the fortune of the world without you if you are not there
What good (what shall I do without you ) in paradise after life without you
What good being at the beaches and countryside without you
What good when the summer ,winter , spring season appear without you

I see how right those
Who were burned because of love
You too have burned me and left
Last year about this time

I do not have your address now, do not know where you are
Was your unspecified knowledge leaving a reward for my love?
I miss you so much in this July evening
What shall I do in Istanbul without you

Now I look back and it has been years since you left
My hope is beyond mountains
My dreams are shattered
And I am broken
Neither your hands touch my hands
Nor your face sees my face
Who knows where you are now

The thought about love and feeling is universal in every human mind , but the translation change , when a language writing from right to left and translate to English the meaning may and will change , as long a person can get the mening of the word the understanding is universal .Turkish language was written in Arabic , Persian letters , then adapted the Latina alphabet in 1927, used a style of Ottoman which sounded so alien to later listeners that it had to be "translated" three times into modern Turkish in 1963, 1986, and recently in 1995 .
