Along the Edge of the Island

[Verse 1: Ploho]
Cool autumn, light rustle of clubs
Hammers are tapping on keys of backs
This song is simple, its notes are simple
Beyond the field is the forest; and beyond the forest, the field
A snake is hissing, curled on the throne
Timidly looking for bushes

[Chorus: Ploho]
We all run along the edge of the island
All our lives running along the edge of the island
We all live on the edge of the island
Of a sharp blade
We all run along the edge of the island
All our lives running along the edge of the island
We all live on the edge of the island
Of a sharp blade

[Verse 2: Molchat Doma]
Yearning for the center of disgrace
You thought it would be better and here you are
One picture in the strange mines of others
Went into the depths on the railing
We were told it was beautiful
We may have been rushed
The result is one

[Chorus: Molchat Doma]
We all run along the edge of the island
All our lives running along the edge of the island
We all live on the edge of the island
Of a sharp blade
We all run along the edge of the island
All our lives running along the edge of the island
We all live on the edge of the island
Of a sharp blade

[Chorus: Together]
We all run along the edge of the island
All our lives running along the edge of the island
We all live on the edge of the island
Of a sharp blade
We all run along the edge of the island
All our lives running along the edge of the island
We all live on the edge of the island
Of a sharp blade

It should be either "On a sharp blade" or you will need to repeat "On the edge of a sharp blade"

"Of a sharp blade" is unintelligible. The English language does not have a strong back reference here like Russian, so you simply can't use the preposition "of" as back reference here.
