About translator
'Upuan' is the 7th track in Gloc-9's 4th album 'Matrikula'
The song is about corrupt politicians who are living lavishly and never leave their positions while people under their administration are suffering from poverty.
The word 'upuan' literally means 'seat' in English. However in this song, it represents as a position in the government.
*"Bato-bato sa langit, ang matamaan wag magalit" is a Filipino proverb. It means 'only the guilty ones get affected by an offensive remark that was thrown up in air.' (©Jake Idris)
