The Fall

When no flower blooms,
Nor does a rider pass by,
What's the use in mountains and deserts?
When it doesn't rain,
Nor does a winter cloud come,
What's the use in all these drainpipes?

Now, in the soundless hands,
Our daggers; poems and sonnets
The tale of compassion's death
Sweet dreams; a bundle
As if we're strangers to one another
Our kindness, is hostility
If only you and I would've known,
That the one who comes, will eventually go
The one who comes, will eventually go

Those fairytales were to blame
Those enemies were to blame
Had they not been [like] night,
The dawn would've been with us, today
The dawn would've been with us, today

Seems like no one understands what I say;
Neither do the dead or the living, nor do the sleeping ones or the awake
No one steals my loneliness from me
The walls and the doors can't understand our pain

I feel sorry for my own loneliness
My today's heart, is emptier than yesterday

My falling, is inside me
Our falling, is like mine
The demise of our childhood days,
Reaching from day to night
The hostilities, are tragedies
Our falling, is a tragedy
The demise of voices, is a tragedy
Tragedies, [but] realities
Realities, realities

These fairytales were to blame
These enemies were to blame
Had they not been [like] night,
The dawn would've been with us, today
The dawn would've been with us, today
