يا مريم البكر

يا مريمُ البِكْرُ فُقْتِ الشمسَ والقمرَ
وكلّ نجمٍ بأفلاكِ السماءِ سَرَى
 
يا أمّ يسوع يا أمّي ويا أملي
لا تهمليني متى عنّي الخطا صدرَ
 
يا نجمة الصبح شعّي في مَعَابِدنا
ونوّري عقلنا والسمعَ والبصرَ
 
English
Translation

O’ Virgin Mary

O’ Virgin Mary who transcended sun and the moon
And is every star that’s orbiting the sky by night
 
O’ the mother of Jesus, oh my mother and my hope
Don’t neglect me when a mistake is made by me
 
O’ the star of the morning beams onto our temple
And we get to see our reason, ability to hear and see

I’m not sure whether you’re referring to Fairouz (the singer of this entry) or Samira Said (the young woman in my profile picture) but both are beautiful women who sound amazing indeed! I really love them and their works. Fairouz has been inactive these days but I recommend you check Samira’s recent singles out, she’s releasing pretty decent bops these days. Keep enjoying beautiful Middle Eastern tunes! :)
