(Person By The Bedside)

Translation

Person By The Bedside

I dreamed of the crush between the wind and sea of flowers
That is my forgotten corner
Fate makes excuses of hearts, humans drown from their nature
I forgot to say, focusing on one thing is fruitless

I dreamed of nonsense woven into the leaves of the book
That is your promise that can’t be kept
The rules of the Eight Deserts can be seen but not broken through
So what if there’s no fate? Fortune and misfortune are intertwined

Falling into your deep dream, my sense of self will be moved for a while
The world’s edges remain vivid, even through secret longing gazes
This heart has been fearless for ages, how tired it is from lovesickness
Even if there is the kind of love like flowing water that grows with age

Sleeping until the distant dream is met, the fallen leaves turn into ashes, a drop of hot tears is shed
Feasting all over the world cannot compare to following you closely
Heaven and earth brew sorrow into passed time, it is hard for the entire body to retreat
Love is a calamity, a mistake, is a detour of fate

I dreamed of tenderness scattered by my ears
Those are the clouds made of your tears
Time rises and falls, obsession is both a god and a devil
Enlightened by life and death, how to know that words of love are hard to get?

Falling into your deep dream, my sense of self will be moved for a while
The world’s edges remain vivid, even through secret longing gazes
This heart has been fearless for ages, how tired it is from lovesickness
Even if there is the kind of love like flowing water that grows with age

Wait until the heavens and earth wake, the sun and the moon do not recede, love is no longer humble
This understatement of the dream embellishes for you
I won’t ask for our sworn oaths of eternal love to be your blooming buds
May this life’s monument only be engraved with poetry of you
Leave a book on the pillow; return slowly once you wake from dreams
