De bon matin, pain en main prêt à être dégusté, goût divin !

Mais la croûte en vain, trop dure m’a laissé sur ma faim

En France c’est juste le quotidien !

J’ai très bien observé ! Rien de bien compliqué

Tu as un goût prononcé

Pour les choses sophistiquées.

Pour toi, je deviendrai

Quelqu'un qui pourra ainsi te charmer !

L’argenterie brillant de mille feux

Couteaux fourchettes en rang par deux

Lesquels? Ma mémoire me joue des tours...

Transparaît alors mon rire nerveux

Je refuse d’avoir honte sous tes yeux.

Tu ne dois me voir que sous mon plus beau jour

Peu importe les recours !

Si je pouvais aimer tout ce que tu aimes

Y aurait-il une chance que tu me dises “Je t’aime”?

Et mes goûts à moi, tu en penserais quoi?

M’ouvrirais-tu toujours tes bras ?

Et pourtant c’est qu’à choisir le plat le plus désirable

Le goût du sashimi est inimitable

Mais je te l’avouerais une autre fois

Une chansonnette fredonnée,

Sous la brise sur les Champs Elysées.

Je prends une brioche, pour y goûter !

Je préfère le dorayaki, désolée !

Et dans ton regard rempli d’étoiles,

Baguette magique, nous emmènera au bal !

J’aimerais tant savourer chaque seconde passée à tes côtés...

Aurais-je ma place parmi toutes ces choses que tu aimes?

Pourrais-tu m’aimer si nous ne sommes pas les mêmes ?

Que penserais-tu de tous mes goûts qui diffèrent ?

Le vin blanc est doux malgré cette touche d’amer,

Le matcha aussi, et alors, que faire?

On en rira ensemble, alors un jour, j'espère !

Si je pouvais aimer tout ce que tu aimes,

C’est sûr que cette fois j’entendrais ce “Je t’aime !”

Ensemble tous les deux, du rouge et du bleu

Pour un dîner en amoureux

Et même si le canard à l’orange est délicieux,

Je trouve le soba bien plus savoureux

Alors je te l’avouerais un jour,

Alors je te vouerais tout mon amour !

And my own tastes, what do you think of them?

Would you still open your arms for me?

Nevertheless, if I had to pick a dish I find the most desirable

The taste of sashimi is simply one of a kind

But I will tell you that another time

A little song hummed

In the breeze through Champs Elysées

I’m taking a brioche to taste it

Actually, I prefer dorayaki, sorry!

And in your starry gaze

With this magic wand, we’re off to the ball

I would love savour each second spent by your side

Do I really fit between the things that you like?

Could you still love me even if we’re not the same?

What would you think of all my different tastes?

White wine is sweet despite its bitter touch

Matcha is the same, so really, what now?

Though we will surely laugh about it one day, I hope

If I could love the things that you love too

I’m sure this time I’ll hear an “I love you”!

The two of us, bathed in red and blue

For a romantic dinner

And even, if duck with orange is delicious

I find that soba is far tastier
