Jam një poezi e flakur,
Një kujtim që koha ndjen ngadal’.
Do të mbroj me frymën time ty…
Prit, prit, fli dhe pak!
Mos u zgjo: ësht’ err’sir’!
Mos e shkel ti shpirtin tim!
Hëna hesht, shkretëtir’:
Nuk më thua lamtumir’!
