In the 2nd line, I hear the first word very clearly as "vuoret" (="mountains") and not "vuodet" (="years") as is written in the transcription. I felt like it made more sense too so I've translated it according to my hearing but if I were to go with the transcription, the translation would be "The years fall on me".
