- 1. Objetively this was a bit of a puzzle to figure out how to order this line.
- 2. We're going poetic here boys. This is what happens when life gives you the literal line "I love not that I what love."
- 3. I had "Spoiled" but the connotation would be as-in treating in excess, when rotting is a better term to use.

Decent commentary, but a number of these lines are just plain incorrectly translated, which makes much of the song unintelligible, whereas the original lyrics are entirely intelligible.

I'm not the person you're replying to, but if it helps, the translation currently listed as translation 1 by passeridae, I would rate as accurate, or almost exactly how I would translate the stanza beginning with "Ich liebe nicht, dass ich was liebe". Your translation seems to misunderstand the use of the word "nicht". As well as a misunderstanding of "will" in the first stanza to mean "I will do something" instead of "want". I would guess you're learning German and haven't done many translations to English yet... I won't pretend to be fluent, and I also won't pretend my translations are flawless or amazing, but I would advise perhaps holding off on doing future translations for this language for a bit... feel free to PM me if you want to discuss anything specific further

Sure thing! I'll list them here as best as I can. I don't leave many comments, so I'm not sure how great the comment system is on this website.
1. Was ich liebe, will ich richten - The way you translated it, I suppose isn't exactly wrong on its own, but it doesn't really fit the rest of the song. Instead, for richten I would probably use "judge" or "rectify". The gist of the song is that he's not happy with the fact he's experiencing good emotions, such as love, so it makes more sense that he would try to "fix" what he views as wrong.
2. Dass ich froh bin, darf nicht sein - I'm not sure how you got to your translation, but this plainly translated says "That I am happy, must not be" or in perhaps better English "That I am happy, cannot be"
3. Ich liebe nicht, dass ich was liebe - It seems like you almost translated this backwards. This should be "I don't love that I love something." In German, was can be an indefinite pronoun (i.e., "something") as well as an interrogative pronoun. If you walk into a bar in Germany, the person working there might ask you "Willst du was?" This isn't "Do you want what?" but "Do you want something?"
4. Ich mag es nicht, wenn ich was mag - Much like the previous point, this sentence is pretty basic but you seemed to make it into something else. It says "I don't like it, when I like something." Maybe the "was" really throws people off more than I thought, hm..
5. Wer mich liebt, geht dabei ein - You did get the first half of this right pretty much. The verb in the second half can have a number of meanings, from "to enter" to even "to die", so there are a number of ways to render this. But I think the most fitting would be "Who loves me, will die from it."
That's pretty much it for the really problematic lines. Anything else that sticks out to me, is just word choice and what makes us unique as translators, so I don't see them as a problem at all! Thanks so much! I’ll try to update it tonight after work. Means a lot. Yes I was for a period learning German but I’ve been busy with life and personal projects so I’m still not that good or familiar with the language
