About translator
Bulbuli is a Bengali Ghazal, written by the legendary Kazi Nazrul Islam, the National Poet of Bangladesh. The passionate poem is an expression of both the pain of separation and the beauty of love in spite of that pain. The renowned poet sets up a trope in garden where he writes about the relationship between a Bulbul, *a songbird, and its beloved who is embodied as a flower. To counter the verses that speak to the Bulbul, Syed Gousul Alam Shaon wrote the lyrics of 'Dol Dol Dol Diyeche' that speaks to the flower. The song sparks the Real Magic of love and romance.
