Lanterns
Click to see the original lyrics (Russian)
Lines of dim lanterns -
shine down on the sidewalk
with their sleepy eyes.
Rain hisses, and you bathe in silver.
Time to put the guitars down -
our fingers are frozen already!
I try to guess where you are -
and that's really good -
Nothing is banned,
yet I've got nothing to spare.
And if you want that -
that means you're a big boy!
Randomly - along the edges of raindrops,
I track two blocks
and quickly rush home!
You know, I'll rather stay back in September,
Right at the open portal
to the autumn, and bye-bye!
I try to guess where you are -
and that's really good -
Nothing is banned,
yet I've got nothing to spare.
And if you want that -
that means you're a big boy!
