A Metaphor for Reality
Shaking and powerless,
my gait was so clumsy.
In the flow of time,
torn-up days are woven together.
I put on a brave front and make mistakes
all with my still incomplete emotions.
Having lost sight of everything,
I hold my hands out to a faraway light.
Looking for tomorrow, looking for you –
How long have I been continuing to wander?
The cruel dream I had that day too, is really
a metaphor for reality.
If only a little more of you becomes known to me,
I wonder if we’ll be able to share our suffering?
The map of our future drawn beyond memories
and our engraved fate – let’s go and find it.
In the changing seasons,
everything remains the same –
I’m still dreaming, even now,
beyond the invisible future.
There were times when I stood still,
confused and hesitating.
I take everything on by myself,
even when I close my eyes to the light that never disappears.
