begins to float ever so lonely, something
shimmering, a hazy moon
My song interpretation:
1. The singer looks at the hazy moon of spring on a night, reminiscing about her past.
2. She then falls asleep (line 3–12).
3. She wakes up with tears in her eyes. She reflects upon her past further. (line 13–20)
4. Looking at the moon again, she cries (sanguinely) furthermore. This is a sad song.
Sharing the same vibe, the song could be viewed as an elaboration of the poem 月やあらぬ Tsuki ya aranu by 在原業平 Ariwara no Narihira:
2.5 Lines 9–12 could be interpreted as talking about the unfaithfulness of her ex-lover.
