Telecastic fake show

Time revolution

Collaborate show
Hysteric
Mirror letter

Sadistic fake
Sadistic face
Fake show

Time revolution

Sadistic fake
Sadistic face
Time revolution
Sadistic fake show
Telecastic your fake feeling
Telecastic your fake feeling
Telecastic + fake feeling
Telecastic + fake feeling

Translation

Telecastic fake show

Now I'm getting tired of your freedom
And there's nothing left for me to sing about
Him and I are criminal inside, in our body there's a
Time revolution
Feel my vision growing (slim)1

Hope you don't wake up someday
To this maddened existence
So that the comforting versions of you all
Who don't know me
Will disappear into the projections
Of your uncanny selves that even I do not know2

Ambiguous collaboration show
Hysteric, meaningless phenomenon
Emotionality3 running through my fingers
I pointed at the mirrored letters4
ontheflipsideofmydreams

Sadistic fake, it's your fault I have contorted out of shape, and this abnormal world
At some point wanted freedom from me, and my emotionality swayed the course of the future...
Sadistic face... but please don't look for it, my sad world of emotions
At some point forked off on its own path from the future, and now I am stuck all alone in this abnormal fake show
I pointed the emotionality through my finger 5 , shut my eyes tight, and cut off my ears
And I began to fear the red temptation swaying inside me

I was tired of freedom
And there was nothing left I could see
In this criminal time revolution

To one invisible person
You showed the sounds that faded away
I was just getting tired of your freedom
And then what was it that I saw?
I was just getting tired of your freedom
And there was nothing left for me to sing about6

Sadistic fake, it's your fault I have contorted out of shape, and this abnormal world
Someday wanted freedom from me, and my emotionality swayed the course of the future...
Sadistic face... but please don't look for it, my sad world of emotions is in a
Time revolution
Criminal sadistic fake show
Telecastic your fake feeling
I'd always crave that freedom
Telecastic your fake feeling
But at some point, freedom became scary to me
And I listened to the melodies that were rent apart by the latency of my emotionality
And I began to fear the red temptation swaying inside me
Telecastic + fake feeling
I was just getting tired of your freedom
Telecastic + fake feeling
And there was nothing left for me to sing about7
So I pointed my finger of emotionality

  • 1. With the way the lyrics are written, it seems to read as "my vision is narrow, and disappearing / becoming lost", but the same line could also be plausibly heard as "my vision is becoming not narrow (=opening up)".
  • 2. This entire section can be read as this complicated run-on sentence, or just be a bunch of vague sentence fragments. This interpretation vaguely makes sense to me, though. There are pleasant/comforting "yous", and uncanny/eerie "yous" (sounds like a pair of antonyms in Japanese). The common interpretation of this song seems to be that he's at odds with different personalities inside him (all the references to "you", "him", etc.) that might be violent or criminal (the red temptation) and confused in all the chaos.
  • 3. He says this a lot. It feels like saying "emotion-ness" to me, but apparently it could be a legitimate word in English like "affectivity". Don't know what uses there are for that, though.
  • 4. Apparently, he might be talking about how children mistakenly write characters the wrong way around? I searched "mirror letter" and a Japanese-English dictionary was in one of the results, even though I've never really heard someone say "mirror letter" in English. Maybe the primal emotional voice inside him is trying to speak out by pointing?
  • 5. Every time he says "pointed my finger", they wrote "point" as if they're talking about piercing or jabbing something, which is odd. Also, he basically says "finger of emotionality", which makes zero sense in English.
  • 6. I read a Japanese article talking about the interpretation of the song, and they think this part shows that there's also themes of losing sight of the desire to do music, but trying to hold onto that invisible spark deep inside.
  • 7. These lines about "now I'm getting tired" and "I was just getting tired" are actually the same throughout, but I'm just changing the tense each time to grammatically agree with what follows (tense only goes on the last verb in a list of actions in Japanese).
