Human

I could write a book and make a pretty penny
About what it's like living a lie bouncing between vodka and pills
If someone can find a soul bring it back here
Just up until sunrise, dancing with the smoke

To the beat, when each bop is sadness
What's the money worth, we're all on the spectrum
I could write a book and make a pretty penny
About how to brighten up the soul

Human, why should you slumber; rise and call out in supplication
Spill forth speech and ask for forgiveness; from the Lord of lords

Throw everything off and sweat
Imagine me dancing with the Messiah on this very day
Making peace with myself
Because what is mine will come and everything here happens for a reason
My Rabbi Nahman promised there is no true despair in this world

Put on a beat when every bop is sadness
What's the money worth, we're all on the spectrum
I could write a book and hand it out at intersections
Smile, you're the child of a King

Human, why should you slumber; rise and call out in supplication
Spill forth speech and ask for forgiveness; from the Lord of lords

I could write a book and hand it out at intersections
About how to brighten up the soul

'on the spectrum' in America at least would likely be understood as 'we all have autism'. Does it mean 'we are all on a streak'? or 'we are all on a continuum'? Or, since the word has the same root as 'floor', could it be something like 'all on a stage'?
