כוכבים למעלה זורחים
ושערי שמיים פתוחים
ותפילה נישאת באוויר
להנשא הלילה.
 
הם עומדים מתחת, חופה אחת
הינומה כשלג ולב נרעד
כל דקה היא נצח וכל מבט
נחרט בלב, הלילה.
 
"ולי את מקודשת", הוא אומר ברגש
ודמעה נשברת בליבה של השמחה.
