Oh, Mind
Click to see the original lyrics (Telugu)
Do you know what you've said to my heart?
Will I not interpret it as love, oh mind?
One that follows me before I've even noticed,
there's this companion that I've met
I know not how to ask
That you should run into me on your own,
is it an illusion? What could it be? Who knows
Oh, my mind, is this all true?
From this moment forth, we are half and half?
Do you know what you've said to my heart?
Will I not interpret it as love, oh mind?
Whenever I make an acquaintance in life,
I ask for nothing, I move on, that nothing will come of it
That you were behind me all this time, I did not know
You have become my mother for all hundred years
Though king around town, once I fell in your lap,
I have become a slave
Oh, my mind, is this all true?
From this moment forth, we are half and half?
The melodies I've wished for are your loving silences
The ends of your hairs are the shores I've searched for
All this time, my mornings were met by the sun
For the first time, I wake up to your face
Placing my life in your palms, with my breath,
I'm making my signature
Oh, my mind, is this all true?
From this moment forth, we are half and half?
Oh, my mind, is this all true?
From this moment forth, we are half and half?
Oh, my mind, is this all true?
From this moment forth, we are half and half?

I've found it impossible to make most of the lines sound remotely elegant, but the song is mostly very short lines, and I didn't want to shuffle the English lines around to make them sound prettier
"half-and-half" refers to a kind of dairy product or whatever, seems to be a uniquely American phrase so idgaf, I'm keeping it that way, "two halves" doesn't have the same ring.
