Round and round
Big skins, down at the mini mart
Few loose capri sun1 and a Mars bar
A big dirty joint and then I’m feeling fine
Round and round
Like a grinder2 ya
A regular little businessman when I’m on tour
No top, moshpit, sweaty balls, encore
Another day same shit
Gimme the stuff, I’ll put one together
Twenty-four hours
First thing in the morning and late at night
Fuck all else happening around here
Now back to the shop to get a pack of raws
Caught in a loop like I'm tryna read a book but it’s the same page over and over and over and over and over and over
Caught in the loop like I'm tryna read a book but it’s the same page over and over and over and over and over and over
Ah fuck it just gonna watch a movie
Stuck in the loop, groundhog day point two
It's been too long, I need an encore and sweaty balls too
Stuck in the loop, nothin' to do
It's been too long, I need an encore and sweaty balls too
'Pinky and brain'
Drugs, I miss love buzz hugs and drinking my share with festival thugs
In my mucked up guds,5 drinking pints with random cunts
But the whole time, twelve lagers6 and a bag of coke and I wanna get a half or a quarter, then I laugh at the news as the madness ensues, I’m stuck in the loop
Stuck in the loop, groundhog day point two
It's been too long, I need an encore and sweaty balls too
Stuck in the loop, nothin' to do
It's been too long, I need an encore and sweaty balls too
Round and round
Big skins, down at the mini mart
Few loose capri sun and a mars bar
A big dirty joint and then I’m feeling fine
Round and round
Like a grinder ya
A regular little businessman when I’m on tour
No top, moshpit, sweaty balls, encore
- 1. Capri Sun is a popular sweetened juice drink
- 2. a mhéilteoir is literally a grinder, but also a play on words: a “melter” is general insult word for something annoying
- 3. In standard Irish a “tógalaí” would be a builder or constructor. Here it’s part of a nickname because it rhymes with Móglaí: “Móglaí the Tóglaí.” I’m guessing what he constructs might be joints.
- 4. “óglaigh” can be any kind of volunteers but note that it has historically been used to refer to the IRA.
- 5. guts?
- 6. Harp is a popular brand of Irish lager

I’m not from Belfast and I’m a bit older than the target demographic of this song, so I may be missing out on some current slang words. I welcome any constructive criticisms.
