Sky-Daughter

Bear-sister, bear-brother
I'm searching steadily, finding only tracks
The forest's chieftain-seat is abandoned
The forest's mother chased away
The pathless forest of the mind
Pulled me deep within
Surrounded by aging trees of memory
You are always near

Sky-daughter!
My sister in the forest
Show me where I'll find, where it grows
Show me who I was and am

Birna

Show me who I was
When I hunted far
When you hunted freely
Before the forests disappeared
Before the river was tamed
And mankind changed its mind
Tell me what you were called before
When the night-sky was your home

Sky-daughter!
My sister in the forest
Hold my hand, let us wander
Step by step through
Darkness and light

Dear sister
Will you come back home?
Without breath
Life is short
The forest is bound to die
Without its shepard

Norwegian here. I feel this is a very good translation, I'll post my edits of what I feel is more accurate.
I am however by no means an authority on anything whatsoever, so YMMV.

Sky-Daughter

Bear-sister, bear-brother
I keep searching, finding only tracks
Abandoned is the forest's chiftain-seat
Chased from there, the forest's mother
Mind's pathless woods
Pulled me deep within
Around, the aging trees remembers
You are always near

Sky-daughter!
My sister in the forest
Show me where I'll find, where it grows
Show me who I was and am

Birna ((Chant, birna meaning mother bear))

Show me who I was
When I hunted far
When you hunted free
Before woods faded
Before the river was tamed
And man-thought turned
Tell me your name before
When night-sky was home

Sky-daughter!
My sister in the forest
Hold my hand, let us wander
Step by step through
Darkness and light

Sister dear
Will you come back home?
Without breath
Life is short
The forest nears death
Without its shepard
