I Remember

With luggages heavier than my body, I ventured beneath the Nile, passing a few flashes, I saw a cluster of halos – not sure if this was the place.
I saw a few people standing together, their hands holding scissors, taking away my luggage, gently wiping my head - I have no chance to go back.
Until I heard some sudden voices, I was sure it was you, but how do you remember me?
I brought news from another world outside, but how do I tell you – we destined to meet in forgetfulness.
I remember this was a grove, with a hill behind; whenever autumn comes, we would pick the fruits – our pockets can fill no more.
I remember I was not only your friend, but also your uncle; you were like a little doggie, always behind my back – just for those couple pennies.
I remember we used to be lovers, but then the war broke out; you went to battlefield, but never returned – until I couldn’t receive your letters.
We always repeated this separation, but had to begin again, bidding each other farewell, waiting for the next life – meeting again in oblivion.

Woo, come and hug me, come and hug me.
Woo, come and hug me, come and hug me.

On the road I met someone that passed away many years ago, she looked so young, with a ponytail behind – her smile just looks like yours.
She told me many stories way back from your childhood; across the starry sky, longing never faded – like the name on the tombstone.
Don’t cry, my dearest darling, my very best playmate; time is a cycle, whether straight or turning – we are destined to meet again.
Inside some of the windows, during times of sunset, in corners of the city, with the seas of lights – people reunite in oblivion.

Woo, come and hug me, come and hug me, woo-oh-woo- oh-woo-oh.
Woo, come and hug me, come and hug me, I’ve finally found you.
