Aun la noche es larga - doesn't that mean.. the night is still young?
When you translate "aun" you get "even", But from this context i think it means "still", the night is still long if u prefer using long. Just I think they didn't mean even if the night is long, but the night is still long - the night is still young.. it goes better with the context of the song too if you think about it, and ive heard many people use "aun" in Spanish as a supstitute for "still"
@ Edit. Oh I see it, I've translated this sentence using the sense of "aunque" because they are similar into this context. I believe "aun" here gives a contrast between the phrases "No quiero que te vayas" and "Aun la noche es larga", so it is like "although", I think your translation "The night is still young" would be "La noche es aun larga", which to my ears is not equivalent to "Aun la noche es larga", anyway I like your phrase and it doesn't change the meaning too much.
