The Song Of The Mariachi

I'm a very honest man, I like the best of things
I'm not lacking in women, nor money, nor love
on horseback, to the mountain I go
the stars and the moon, they tell me where to go.

Oh, oh, oh, oh
oh, oh, my love
oh, dark skinned woman1
of my heart.

I like playing the guitar, I like singing to the sun
the mariachi accompanies me when I sing my song
I like the drinks I drink, aguacaliente2 is the best
the silver tequila3 too, its salt gives it flavor.

Oh, oh, oh, oh
oh, oh, my love
oh, dark skinned woman
of my heart.

I like playing the guitar, I like singing to the sun
the mariachi accompanies me when I sing my song
I like the drinks I drink, liquor is the best
the silver tequila too, its salt gives it flavor.

Oh, oh, oh, oh
oh, oh, my love
oh, dark skinned woman
of my heart.

Oh, oh, oh, oh
oh, oh, my love
oh, dark skinned woman
of my heart
(Oh, oh, oh).

¿No es "Morena" simplemente significa "Brunette" ?
Una mujer de pelo oscuro ya es Brunette

to be honest, Moreno/a usually refers to the skin tone, some people use that word as Brunette, but the first meaning is way more common, "Dark-skinned"

'Brunette' referes to a "not blonde woman" but doesn't necessarily means a "dark skinned" one.
I agree that 'Morena' referes to a dark skinned woman.

Well, fair enough
It was just a thought! But, he's the Spanish one!
I recalled its meaning as "Brunette" that's why I asked

Late reply but 'morena' can mean a dark skinned woman, which I've chosen to translate.

You're the Spanish one! I just recalled its meaning as "Brunette" wanted to be sure, thanks for the replies by the way!
