  This is a reference to when CORPSE had a gun pulled on him on the 23rd of March 2020 while he was out at night at 3AM to clear his head. He hasn’t talked in depth about the incident for his own safety as he believes there may have been gang related ties.

• I been to fucking Hell but I'm surrounded by ...:

  The line is a biblical reference to the Garden of Eden. In this story, the first humans, Adam and Eve, are lured to the Tree of Knowledge by Satan disguised as a snake. He tempts them to eat a forbidden apple, which is against God’s will, and their violation results in their exile from Paradise. By calling his friends “snakes,” CORPSE likens them to Satan’s deviousness. Their appearance is a facade, and their only intent is to betray him.

• Me and all these pills be on a fuckin' first ...:

  A first-name basis figuratively means two people are well-accustomed to each other. In this case, the line refers to the narrator’s dependence on pills, using them so frequently it’s as if they are friends. In the past, CORPSE has described his chronic illnesses to include fibromyalgia, thoracic outlet syndrome, and GERD, for which he requires medications. Alternatively, the pills could reference a painkiller addiction. In either case, the line is in juxtaposition to CORPSE’s previous line where he says his actual friends are “snakes.” It seems the narrator’s dependence on pills has overshadowed his social relationships.
