You were there on that day, with us
Our friends told such things that your name was mentioned too much
Each of them saw my sadness on my face
Unpleasantly and senselessly, time hung heavy on my hands
Two songs were sung
Either made me upset so much
If your pride says " do not go back",
Do not listen to it, please
(x2)
As our hopes get older, they would be wiped out
As much as the one jilting goes away, the rest would become valuable
From left to right, a two-hearted word.. the toughest crossword...
Love...One of us will solve it, so the other will be sorry, too.

In English, the clues relevant to crosswords are referred to by numbers and a direction, for example, "4-Across"... However, in Turkish, we generally say "from left to right, a 4-letter word". Here, I use the notion of two-hearted in a lyrical way.
To me, it is impressive that love has two syllables so it has two hearts figuratively, and love can be possible with merely two loving hearts.
