Thanks for translating! :) I don't know Finnish, but here are some suggestions just based on where the English sounds a bit odd.

"Offing" is the most distant part of the sea visible from shore. It's an awfully obscure word for most English speakers, and nowadays is used almost exclusively in the metaphorical sense. I'm not saying it's the wrong word, but it should get a footnote.

I think "If you settle to just listen to the ocean" should really be "If you settle for just listening to the ocean," that is, if you let yourself be content with just listening instead of being more ambitious and, for example, using all of your senses. I find "acquiesce" as one of the meanings of "tyytyä," so I think that would be about right.

If the person is grieving the fact that it'll stay here, I think it would be better to say something like "I won't give in and grieve" or "I won't give in to grieving."
