Y avait à Sidi Okba,
m’a dit mon grand-père,
un Bédouin qui était le papa
d'une jolie mouquère,
mais une caravane campa
qui venait du Caire,
par-derrière, sans manière,
la petite décampa.
La fille du Bédouin
suivait nuit et jour cette caravane,
elle connut tour à tour
tous les autres Bédouins de la caravane
et tous les chameliers
et tous les âniers en firent leur sultane.
La fille du Bédouin
avait trouvé l'joint pour garnir son couffin.
Elle a suivi soixante ans
et par toute l'Afrique,
du Maroc jusqu'au Soudan
comme une pauvre bourrique
et elle usa toutes ses dents
à bouffer des briques.
À coups de triques, sans réplique,
on l'a pousse tout le temps.

suivait nuit et jour cette caravane,
elle connut tour à tour
les trois mille Bédouins de la caravane.
Douze cents chameliers,
dix-huit cents âniers placèrent des bananes
dans le petit couffin
qu’avait dans un coin la fille du Bédouin.

I am not sure you have understood the lyrics.
It’s a bawdy song: it suggests that all the men made love with the girl.
Bedouin is not a place.
The Bedouin are an Arabian ethnic group living in desert.
A Bedouin is such a person.
