It’s when the streams turn orange at the setting of the sun,
and warm and gentle shivers through the wheat fields run,
that into our doubting hearts words of advice may soar,
words that from everywhere do pour:
They tell us to enjoy the sweetness of existence
while we are young and May nights’ loveliness we crave,
for our life is like a stream that flows and ends:
