I still fail to see that the song refers to his real life, since he'll fly or run with it; and maybe I've failed in conveying the true meaning, but in any case if this is what bothered you you might have pointed it out, and even then your vote is low by the standards set by the site and also by any common sense standard. You should at least provided clues to what the true meaning is.
And you shouldn't patronise other people to as to what songs should they listen or translate
No I'm not pleased since your comments displayed malice. I'm translating for the fun of music and not for the fun of translating, nor am I a translator nor do I speak Neapolitan nor did I claim this. Mind you I like classical neapolitan songs and I do understand Neapolitan and I'm familiar with their sound and pronunciation. I also did translations from latin and ancient greek but it would be inappropriate to discuss them in latin or ancient greek since these are translations to english. The particular song I translated not because it means anything to me but because it was a request by Calusarul and not many people here translate neapolitan, since you are here I won't bother myself anymore.
On the subject, you believe that this is a song about misery and I believe that this is a song about love. Your contribution till now didn't convince me otherwise. I won't discuss this any further and below is the space for your final word you may choose to make it constructive and well-disposed or use it as you see fit
