Overall a very good translation, I'd say.
As for 'because I'm scared of living here for another minute' -> another suggestion capturing the idea of 'daar krijg ik het benauwd' might be 'it's getting too crowded there' or maybe 'it's becoming too constrained (there)' . Groeten!

Very good , especially when you say you can't speak Dutch :-) !!!!
Just two more remarks : I 'd rather say " Because their language sounds so sweet" and
"But I didn't take any risk"
Anyway, you both kept me from translating the song (while I prepared it tonight but my connection was gone )...but I forgive you as they are good ;-)
I want to thank you both for your corrections, but there's still one little thing I'd like to be enlightened about: What does 'in dubio staan' exactly mean? Because I couldn't find any explanation to this idiom, but I've discovered the meaning of the word 'zelfs'. So the phrase shall sound like 'I even ...., but I didn't take any risks'. If I said 'I even had doubts', I would kind of repeat myself because later it says 'I was doubtful about Belgium'. Moreover, the two sentences that make up this phrase are supposed to be somehow in contrast, due to being connected through the adversative conjunction 'but'. And in the current phrase I can see no contrast, that's why it seems a bit odd to me. So please tell me what that phrase is supposed to mean.
P.S.: I hope I didn't baffle you :d.
Actually "dubio" is some kind of big dilemma, or a "struggle with oneself" "in dubio staan" could be translated as " I was facing a big dilemma" or " I even struggled with myself" Maybe here it would even be possible to say " I even struggled with my doubts" (double doubts ;-) )
So I hope I didn't make you...doubt even more :P

Mostly based on intuition. I am not a Dutch speaker.
