Goodnight

And goodnight to those who don't risk to go to sleep
And goodnight to those who pursue another dream
And goodnight to the sun which blows the light out and goes to sleep without me
And goodnight, goodnight love, good night to you...
And goodnight, goodnight to those who have already shut the door
And goodnight, goodnight to those who are outside once more
And goodnight to the sea who's afraid in the dark already turns on the fishing lamps
And goodnight, goodnight love and to the one who will pamper you...

Down the stairs
Sunday's already over
But another day will rise for us
If you want it...
On the way
An old man with an accordion
Will be looking at your window
Until he sees a light there...

And goodnight, goodnight to those who don't smoke another one
And goodnight, goodnight to those who marry the moon
And goodnight to the sky which sets fire to the stars as the city's asleep
And goodnight, goodnight love and to the one who will warm you up
And goodnight love that in the dark you're looking for me between the sheets
And goodnight, goodnight love, goodnight to you

In this main entrance
At the third floor there's Veronica
Maybe she's sleeping, maybe not
For me an angel is...
A song
Played by an accordion
I'll go back home alone
But I'll have you in my dreams...

And goodnight, goodnight to those who dive into their beds
And goodnight, goodnight who, in love, don't have any respect
And goodnight to the heart which swells in the dark like the sea and will burst
And goodnight, goodnight love to the one who will wake you up
And goodnight love that in the dark you're looking for me between the sheets
And goodnight, goodnight love, goodnight to you

1st sentence: it's not "who don't risk to go to sleep" but it means "who can't sleep" (who suffers of insomnia!)
2nd verse/1st line: it's not "who don't smoke another one" but "who smoke another one" (who smoke a last cigarette before going to sleep)
