Chilanga Banda
Quit playing Chilango (person from Mexico City D.F.) jackass,
What a lame job you got,
That Suit does not look good on you (or...You're fooling yourself wearing that suit),
Put that badge up quite playing
As fat as bedbug,
And more crooked than contraband products,
With your gun and badge,
I swear you like being a rent-a-cop
As for myself, I'd rather drink a beer,
And likely I'll smash (sexual relations) with a girl,
Working as a Taxi Driver,
I'm never short of drinks or parties
If I crash I'll just take out the bumps/dents,
The police here are really jerks,
Shrewdly scheming the schemers,
They'll bit their badge (get a taste of their own medicine),
At night I hit the Congal (stripclub)
Quite playing dude, says La Change (nickname for a girl)
Truth be told (Literally translates: Like the the truth drunk men say),
Quickly pass me the bottle)
Zoot Suiters, Gangsters and Hicks (mexican version of rednecks or lower class people),
Chichinflas(petty robbers) and Malafachas(People with bad taste, no fashion and bad customs)
Over here los Champiras(Robbers of a higher grade, slick and sly, cool robbers, can also mean someone who is street smart) rifan(control, dominate, over power)
And dance tibiri tabara(cumbia music) repeats 3x
My homeboy passes me the roach(blunt or joint of weed)
And sings la Cucaracha(La song/folklore form the Mexican Revolution)
And his chick lives off pills,
inhalants, roaches and street food
Zoot Suiters, Gangsters and Hicks (mexican version of rednecks or lower class people),
Chichinflas(petty robbers) and Malafachas(People with bad taste, no fashion and bad customs)
Over here los Champiras(Robbers of a higher grade, slick and sly, cool robbers, can also mean someone who is street smart) rifan(control, dominate, over power)
And dance tibiri tabara(cumbia music) repeats 3x
Robbing and scheming up and down,
Here comes the people of Mexico City Federal District (chilangos)
F your mothers if y'all remind me of her (ex lover I suppose)
It doesn't faze me and bounces back to you!

About translator
I admire the previous translation. This is a very hard song to translate if you are not familiar with this very hardcore and urban slang from Mexico City's lower class. The entire song is slang and even if you are a Mexican national or fluent in Spanish, it is impossible to know what they are talking about. However, as a native of Mexico City and former Champira and Cholo, I had to truly and completely translate this song appropriately. No disrespect to the former translator, but he clearly does not know what many of the words mean. Thank you all, enjoy and God bless!
