Kiss Me lyrics

Settle down with me...
Cover me up,
Cuddle me in,
Lie down with me,
Hold me in your arms

Your heart's against my chest
Lips pressed to my neck,
I've fallen for your eyes,
But they don't know me yet

And the feeling I forget
I'm in love now

Kiss me like you wanna be loved,
Wanna be loved,
Wanna be loved.

This feels like I've fallen in love,
Fallen in love,
Fallen in love

Settle down with me
And I'll be your safety
You'll be my lady

I was made to keep your body warm,
But I'm cold as, the wind blows,
So hold me in your arms

My heart's against your chest
Your lips pressed to my neck
I've fallen for your eyes
But they don't know me yet

And the feeling I forget
I'm in love now

Kiss me like you wanna be loved,
Wanna be loved,
Wanna be loved

This feels like I've fallen in love,
Fallen in love,
Fallen in love

Yeah I've been feeling everything
From hate to love,
From love to lust,
From lust to truth...
I guess that's how I know you

So hold you close
To help you give it up

So kiss me like you wanna be loved,
Wanna be loved,
Wanna be loved

This feels like I've fallen in love,
Fallen in love,
Fallen in love

So kiss me like you wanna be loved,
Wanna be loved,
Wanna be loved

This feels like I've fallen in love,
Fallen in love,
Fallen in love

The song is written for the wedding of Ed Sheeran's godparents. Details as below from a comment on the YouTube video:

Ed sheeran: “my dad had 2 best friends growing up, boy and girl. These 2 friends became my godparents. They both got married to separate people and sadly both marriages ended due to the other partner passing away. And basically they went through this horrible time filled with heartbreak and pain together as friends. Anyway my mum had her 50th not that long ago, and she of course invited my godparents. Now when you get to 50 wine starts to hit you harder so everyone got piss drunk on wine. At the end both my godparents ended up on the same train back to south London, and my godfather got down on one knee and proposed, and she said yes. So they both asked me to play a song at they’re wedding, they gave me the choice of playing a song that already existed or making my own especially for the wedding. So I took them up on they’re offer and wrote kiss me which I performed at they’re wedding”
