Hi, I think the Spanish text says: "y el llanto amargo de la soledad COMPLETA" rather than "concreta" :)

And in fact alegría means "joy", as well as the original "freude"... while "happiness" in Spanish would be "felicidad" :)) This song is too famous to change the title :))

Title maybe as 'A Joyful Hymn' (or directly as 'Hymn of Joy')? I was under the impression that himno meant one of two things: 1) hymn 2) anthem. The translation 'A Song Of Joy' the English version of the song, I've seen many artists sing songs in two languages and the lyrics differ from each other and so do the title. I don't believe that the title should be translated as the English one, songs in a different language are rarely the same, the same can be said about the titles.
