К чертогам Стража снов

По Перуна воле

Обнял Мару нежно

Мара ходила

За собой манила

Пела во кресне

Колыбельну песню

Сплю во пучине

Братья во кручине

Сладко мне спиться

Глас богов душу мою направит

В блике снов катится коло нави

Брошусь вниз, но сдержат Мары длани

Вижу огнь я на своем кургане

Swollen with blood,

Staring at but dusk,

What do eyes see,

Frozen in the Nav's1 embraces?

Your conciousness dreams

Of you floating over the Yav'2

Among hungry crows,

That obscure your light.

Fly after the sun,

To the cloud's embraces.

Fly without fear

To the halls of the Dreamlord.

I3 fell, oh 4 in the field,

By the Perun's5 will,

Lay down on the caring6 earth,

Snuggled Mara7 gently.

Mara would walk,

Beacon to follow,

Sing in the Kresen'8

A lullaby.

I sleep in the deep,

My brothers in sorrow,

I sleep sweetly,

But can't come back.

Voice of gods shall guide my soul.

In a highlight of dreams the (wheel/circle)6 of Yav' rolls.

I'll leap down, but Mara's hands will keep me still.

I see a fire on my mound.

I see highlights of fire again,

Souls of my kin shall hear me.

In bitter tears the memory lives.

1. In slavic paganism - the world of dead. In slavic neopaganism - also the border between Yav' and Prav'. Depicted as the sea of unknown (navy, naval)
2. In both slavic paganism and neopaganism - our world. In modern Russian language - the reality.
3. Ther's no pronoun here, that could act as a subject. A usual thing for Russian language. In the second following stanza there is a first person verb though, so it's probably "I".
4. Atop of "yes" the word "da" could also mean "and", "but" or serve as a rhytmical filler, like here
