Light Music

She slept
with the heat of the masses [bodies, bulks ??]
and I woke up
wanting to dream of her
Some time in the past (a while ago)
I thought about writing to her
and I never avoided
the pitfalls of love

That love
of light music (gentle music)
nothing frees us,
nothing else remains

I will not send [her]
ashes of roses (rose ashes)
nor shall I avoid
a secret contact (meeting)

That love
of light music (gentle music)
nothing frees us,
nothing else remains

About "ella durmio al calor de las masas" - I remember when I was in Buenos Aires an Argentinian guy told me it means "she calmed down the the masses", like literally "put to sleep the heat of the masses", or something similar.

"ella durmio al calor de las masas" means that she slept with the rhythm of the masses, at its warmth. That's why then he says "y yo desperte queriendo soñarla".
"musica ligera" means soft music... hope it helps, if you want to know something about this or any other lyric, ask me, i'm from argentina ;) bye!

En el coro el significado es más bien: Nada nos libra de aquel amor de música ligera, así que sería:
From that love
For light music
Nothing frees us
