Fua ho kolosi tokotaha pē

Translation

Let Me Stay Beneath Your Feet

Let me stay beneath your feet
Jesus [who] died on Calvary
[You] carry your cross alone
[The] source of life to my soul.
 
The tears of poor mary
Her moaning beneath your feet
Then he spoke down [to them] and said,
"Men,1this is your mother."2
 
[How] dear is the thief
[His] plea [as he looked up] to the Lord,
"[Lord], when you ascend to your kindgom,
Remember me, a sinner."3
 
He [then] spoke down [to him] and said,
"Man,4be at peace.
I now respond to your plea,
[Therefore], we will be in paradise with you."5
