יה שמע אביוניך

יָהּ שְׁמַע אֶבְיוֹנֶיךָ
הַמְחַלִּים פָּנֶיךָ
אָבִינוּ לְבָנֶיךָ
אַל תַּעְלֵם אָזְנֶךָ
 
יָהּ עַם מִמַּעֲמַקִּים
יִקְרְאוּ מֵרוֹב מְצוּקִים
אַל נָא תְּשִׁיבֵם רֵקִים
הַיּוֹם מִלְּפָנֶיךָ
 
הַוּוֹתָם וַעֲוֹנָם
מְחֵה וְרֻבֵּי זְדוֹנָם
וְאִם לֹא תַעֲשֶׂה לְמַעֲנָם
עֲשֵׂה צוּרִי לְמַעֲנֶךָ
 
וּמְחֵה הַיּוֹם חוֹבָם
וּרְצֵה כְּמוֹ שַׁי נִיבָם
וּלְךָ תָּכִין לִבָּם
וְגַם תַּקְשִׁיב אָזְנֶךָ
 
דִּמְעַת פְּנֵיהֶם תִשְׁעֶה
וְתֶאֱסוֹף עֵדֶר תּוֹעֶה
וְתָקִים לְךָ רוֹעֶה
וּפְקוֹד בְּטוֹב צֹאנֶךָ
 
הוֹלְכֵי בְּדֶרֶךְ נְכֹחָה
תְּבַשְּׂרֵם הַיּוֹם סְלִיחָה
וּבִתְפִלַּת הַשָחַר
הַמְצִיאֵם חִנֶּךָ
 
English
Translation

God hear your wretched

God hear your wretched
who await your grace
Father, do not abstain
of hearing your sons
 
God, a nation in the deep
shall call out of it's miseries
Please, on this day,
do not ignore them
 
Their nastiness and their wrongdoings
do wipe away, as well as their great sinfulness
If not for their sake you shall act
Than do it for your own sake, my flint-like lord
 
And on this day wipe away their debt
And be in favor of their words
And you shall direct their hearts to you
And your ear shall be ready to listen
 
You shall answer the tear on their face
and collect a wandering herd
And you shall set a herder in your honor
and get your herd to wellness
 
Those who walk on the straight path,
on this day you shall announce them of your pardon
And in the dusk prayer
show them your grace.
