I believe the "Er wird zum Ton um Ton" is intended to apply to "Ton" meaning tone/sound rather than clay.

* "Also" means something like "well" in German (e.g. Also, Ich habe viele Kätzen ----> Well, I have many cats.). I don't know if the artist intended for this to be German or English, but to me the German word seems so make more sense in this situation.
**I don't know exactly how to translate this, and I still can't think of a way to explain it.
