Красиво. Да, теперь я уловил отличие от перевода Брата. Но его перевод пожалуй поточнее, правда? Русский текст звучит мягче (без слабоумия и смертоубийства) и, как бы сказать, э-э-э.., элегичнее.

Death throe это не смерть, а смертельная мука если что. Дословнее не значит точнее.

Да уж...
Сейчас подловил на улице соседа и дал ему телефон с просьбой прочитать стих про музу-медузу. Как я и рассчитывал, он начал со слова ''охуебуза'', затем, охуев, протёр глаза и прочитал уже правильно. Ну что сказать - работает наука фонетика... :)

This is normal for any new person. We aim to confuse each other let alone others.
Quick recap: Sol gave us a poem as a puzzle and many of us went for translating it giving our feelings, interpretations, and fancifulness to take over.

Reading comments is like listening to a standup routine - don't expect anything that makes sense. Or much sense.

Я тут прогулялась по другим переводам - так там же Фрей их всех отзвездил, а он же и чистой воды Гуглу звездит, так что нет веры тем звёздам

Don't delete your work - it's childish. Each person puts part of themselves into each original or translation so deleting is self-destructive. It's understandable to seek approval, but unnecessary to survive...

It's different to delete when the objective is to make it better. It's another thing to do this in a fit.
