Thanks, I added your suggestions. I do think that "to brood" is a good way to translate "grübeln", because "ponder" requires an object.

"We like to brood" is another way of saying "we often brood". It doesn't have to mean "We enjoy brooding".

Über den Übersetzer
"Wir grübeln leicht" is a strange way to express it but it most likely means "We ponder a bit".
"ohne Not" doesn't need to refer to "no poverty", it can also just mean "without difficulties".
"who will live the half dream of achieving our goal,
who will be the first to dare crossing the lake?"
