Horses(Koni)

Versionen : #1#2#3#4#5#6#7#8
Along the cliff, over the precipice, on the very edge
I keep flogging with a whip my horses - drive them to a pace,-
Somewhat air not enough for me- I swallow the mist, drink the wind,
With deadly elation I feel: I'm dying! I'm dying!

A little slower my horses, a little slower, easy!
Don't you listen to my whip, so taunt!
But the horses I've got, somewhat queasy,-
I'm late to live to the end, late to finish the song.

I'll give water to horses,
I'll finish singing the verses-
Just a little bit more
I'll stand on the edge!

I'll perish, like a feather the hurricane will blow me away,
And in a sleigh, I'll be entailed in a gallop through the morning snow.
You , my horses, change to a very slow pace!
Just a bit longer, but prolong my way to the last shelter I'll know!

A little slower my horses, a little slower, easy!
Not the lash, nor the whip will push you on!
But the horses I've got, somewhat queasy,-
I'm late to live to the end, late to finish the song.

I'll give water to horses,
I'll finish singing the verses-
Just a little bit more
I'll stand on the edge!

We've made it - to visit God, be late, no such thing;
So why there, with such an angry voices the angels sing?
Or is it, the horses bell chocked from weeping?
Or is it me, to slow down the sleigh, at horses screaming?

A little slower my horses, a little slower, easy!
I beg you, don't gallop on and on!
But the horses I've got, somewhat queasy...
Since I'm late to live to the end, at least let me finish the song!

I'll give water to horses,
I'll finish singing the verses-
Just a little bit more
I'll stand on the edge!

Danke!
