While walking on the trail, my legs were giving in!
I asked the local forester, If he could lend his inn.
The old man smiled heartily, and took me for the night.
Invited me to tea, It was a lovely sight!

It soon got bloody dark, as I finished my tea.
The woodsman sat across me, preaching what life could be.
With animals, he said, he wages little war.
He likes to feed the wolves, that's who the meat is for!
