Посеред ночі
Прокинеться байбак,
Колесо Сансари крутить,
І навіть ми з тобою
Зможемо повірить в міфи...
Намарний біль, захмарний яв,
Нестримний яр жагучий, неминучий...
Напівзвучно, ніби під ногами
Вмить розверзнеться земля,
Заспіває в небі Янгол...
Туманний вир розвіється,
Безжальний світ умиється в льодах...
Невідлучно - я і ти, зоря, світи!..
Невід'ємно сповна,
Ув'язнені, заковані в зимі...

IN the middle of the night
--
'the ground opens in a moment,' -- "ground" sounds weird, "opens in a moment" even weirder. All together -- the weirdest.
Is it Biblical, like:
The earth is completely devastated; the earth is split open; the earth is violently shaken; the earth is utterly broken, the earth is rent asunder
???
"Вмиг" -- я бы перевела suddenly, 'in a blink of an eye'. 'In a moment' sounds more like "через минутку" (вам откроются все тайны... грунта)
