sta cosa ca pari u cchiù granni misteru:
na conta, pi lingua, di ogni palora
ca scrissi ntô situ, di antura a accamora
Mi sfurniciavi cu sta cosa nova
a megghiu pinzata fu fari na prova
avìa di bisognu di n'atra canzuna

I'm writing this kind of poem
useless and more sour than a lemon
I'll tell you why, but don't tell anyone:

the best idea was to give a test
I needed another song
