Marianne is the English term, derived from the French word, for the national personification of the French Republic since the French Revelation, meaning liberty, equality and reasoning, as well as protrayal from the Goddess of Liberty. (via. Wikipedia + my own knowledge)
The "pouvoirs" is a French political magazine originally published in the 1970s.
The name of the song, "Marianne", is similar to that of Pravi's friend Marion Sarraut, who was a French director for film and TV. Sarraut passed away in 2021, just months before Pravi won the SACEM award, in which Sarraut had co-developed. Sarraut also directed and starred alongside Pravi in the 2017 film "La Sainte Famille".
