Stop Erasing!
Click to see the original lyrics (Italian)
Do you know what's happening, my friend?
There are people who now try to take away
Young dreams that time will cradle
Full of freedom
People who stay and who go away
Who should be blamed, a man or maybe the democracy?
Mother War will absolve all the sins
Of those who worship her!
Is there anyone
Who will help me to say "Stop erasing"?
Is there anyone
Who can put an end in violence?
Do you know what's happening, my friend?
What for now is regarded as a lie
By tomorrow will evolve for anyone
And it will become the truth
Is there anyone
Who will help me to say "Stop erasing"?
Is there anyone
Who can put an end in violence?
Is there anyone
In the immensity of the planet?
Is there anyone who will know how to live
And think at the same time?
With so many rocks to throw
Commander, have you put aside
Your army of fraud and empathy?
How many people
That in the name of God
Will end up as ashes?
Is there anyone
Who will help me to say "Stop erasing"?
Is there anyone
Who can put an end in violence?
Is there anyone
In the immensity of the planet?
Is there anyone who will know how to live
And think at the same time?
And think at the same time...
Is there anyone?

Literally, 'Basta!' is translated as 'Enough!'. However, many years ago L'Aura posted on her website the official Italian->English translation of the song, entitled "Stop erasing!" (this version has been lost as the years passed). This is not her official version.
