Two Birds
A small bird, like a white cloud
Flaps its wings
Toward the morning sun, in an endless pursuit
It sets out on its journey
The tired bird, to rest its wings
Perches upon a branch
But already behind the little bird
The night tries to swallow it whole
Gray darkness seeps in
Cold moonlight drifts through
With dewdrops laid beneath
And black night covering all
It falls into a deep sleep
