Maybe my ignorance doesn't allow me to understand the why for such a low rating(1 star). For compensation, here are 5 stars :-)

I'm not sure why this got a 1 star, sure the user missed a couple of things that could probably be worded a little better, some footnotes here and there for any parts that were a confusing, but not worth the 1 star. Maybe 3-4 stars for the work and effort, the user clearly has an understanding of both the language and the song.
However, I don't think it should be given 5 stars just because you think it didn't deserve 1 star. If anything, an admin should be notified that this is an unjust rating and the rating will be removed, you could have also left a comment with any suggestions or given the admins a comment about the quality of the translation, and how at the most if should have a x amount of a vote.
Also I'd like to point out the 1 star vote is ridiculous, on our FAQ it states in 8.1 the following: 1 - terrible, just like a machine translation (see 2.3 What about Google Translate service and other machine translations?). It’s so bad that it shouldn’t be published on this site.
It's not a GT translation either. If it was, then damn GT is getting better :)

It should be too hard to notify each questionable rating, I guess ;-)
I prefer to leave my five stars,in order to get an acceptable average

I've let the admins know either way, the 1 star isn't fair even if the user has been inactive since 2012. I'll come back once I'm done with a couple of things with any suggestions if they should ever come back to LT, and my own rating afterwards.

I love this song I had never heard it in English
